In May 2023 I had a life changing brain bleed and two strokes. I have has to learn to walk, talk and live life again with majority of my vision gone. The Walton centre provided me with life saving care for 6 months. Without them I would no longer be here today.

Walton is a centre of excellence and a shining light amongst our amazing NHS with wonderful staff throughout who provided us with first class care. Janet underwent surgery ten years ago there which was a scary time and not without risks. The fact that she is still living a full life today is due in large part to the Walton Centre so this is our chance to say Thank You.
I'm joining other fundraisers during the month of May, to raise funds for our Home from Home - an amazing facility which supports families of patients receiving critical care at the hospital.
In September 2023 I was rushed to Walton hospital for emergency back surgery. - This was my second emergency transfer in 7 months. All of the staff at the Walton centre had a huge impact on my experience, making me safe and welcomed, especially knowing I had to spend nights on my own.

In June 2020 I had a subarachnoid haemorrhage. The Walton saved my life, I’m pretty sure I would not be here, fit and well without their expertise and care.
