During lockdown 2020 we lost a great family friend Spen Webster, he spent time and had treatment at the Walton Centre during his fight against his brain tumour.
I wanted to do something to help raise money and awareness for this great place and all the great work they do.

As a result i gave myself 3 challenges:

I recently ran my first ever Half Marathon, at the Great North Run, in Newcastle, and i am still smiling to myself with my time of 2hrs 14mins, which would of been Spens 70th birthday weekend, which i feel helped me around knowing he would be proud of me doing this.

On Sunday 3rd October i will be taking part in the Virtual London Marathon ( do it your way ) I will be running around Widnes all day.

On Sunday 16th Nov I will be finishing my 3 month challenge by doing the Alton Towers half marathon
