Do you love making things with your hands and using your imagination? Do you want to make a difference and help people who need it? If you answered yes to both questions, then you might be interested in designing your own money box and raising funds for The Walton Centre Charity. This is a fun and rewarding activity that you can do at school with your classmates and teachers.

The Walton Centre Charity supports The Walton Centre hospital in Liverpool, which is the only specialist hospital in the UK dedicated to providing care for patients with brain, spine, and nerve conditions. Money raised will go to our Christmas appeal, that supports our Home from Home - helping families stay together when their loved ones are undergoing urgent treatment at The Walton Centre.

Designing your own money box is a creative and easy way to collect money for The Walton Centre Charity. We provide you with blank money boxes in a shape of a house. You can then decorate your money box however you want, using paint, stickers, glitter, or anything else that makes it look attractive and unique. Here are some ideas to inspire you:

• Draw shapes like a brain, a spine, or a nerve. You can use different colours and textures to make it look realistic or abstract.
• Turn the money box into a hospital building or an ambulance. You can add details like windows, doors, wheels, or sirens.
• Make a money box designed with your favorite animal or a character that represents you, like a walrus, a dolphin, or a superhero.
• Make a money box shaped like something that makes you happy or inspires you. For example, you can make a money box shaped like a rainbow, a star, or a flower.

Once you have designed and made your money box, you can start filling it with coins that you collect from your family, friends, neighbours, or anyone else who are generous to support us.

When your money box is full, simply bring it back into school or community centre by Monday 11th December, and we will collect. Remember to write your name and school / community centre on the money box.
