Are you ready for an adventure? Hiking up Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) is a must-do for anyone who loves the great outdoors!

Join us on Saturday, 28 September 2024.

Challenge yourself and help us raise vital funds by scaling the highest mountain in Wales. The mountain is 1,085 metres (3,560 ft) above sea level, and the highest point in the British Isles outside the Scottish Highlands. Snowdonia National Park in North Wales is synonymous with beautiful, rugged landscapes and wonderful trekking and outdoor pursuits.

When you join our journey, you'll be helping us to support patients, their families and the dedicated staff who care for them, at The Walton Centre.

Money raised will support our Home from Home relatives’ accommodation, ensuring families can stay close to loved ones who are undergoing life-saving treatment at The Walton Centre hospital.

You’ll be supported from start to finish by Big World Treks and The Walton Centre Charity Team.

You will receive:

  • Professional and friendly support and advice before your walk from Big World Treks
  • Fundraising support and guidance
  • Snowdon Event Notes and Kit List
  • Qualified and experienced Mountain Leaders along the route
  • Radio communication between all leaders
  • A copy of the photos taken by your Mountain Leader throughout the day

Event tickets cost £15 (non refundable deposit), and once registered you will be asked to set up a fundraising page. We ask that you aim to raise a minimum of £100.
