In May 2015 the Walton Centre saved my life, after I became critically ill following a brain haemorrhage.
My husband and I would like to thank the Walton Centre for saving my life, by abseiling from the beautiful Liverpool Cathedral.
We would be really grateful if you can support us by sponsoring us.

There are some days and hours that I don’t remember during my earlier days on the high dependency unit, as I was so ill. Though I do remember the staff were fantastic.
The follow up care was amazing too, having regular check ups and MRIs.
Initially I was warned that I may not get my eyesight back in my left eye.
Though luckily with great care, time and patience I did.
I was also lucky that I managed to get back to work after being off sick.
I’ll always be grateful and thankful to the Walton centre. As I know my family and friends are too.

Vital funds raised can help make future patients more comfortable. Donations can help in various ways, which include purchasing iPad communications software, to help give brain injury patients a voice. Animal assisted therapy sessions for patients on the complex rehabilitation unit. There is also a home from home fund, which helps families stay together when loved ones are undergoing life saving treatment.
Please donate, however big or small.
Thank you in advance and please wish us both good luck on the day. We will send photos! Gill Naylor
