Christopher's Fundrasier Donate Hello allAs most of you know, I have been on quite a journey. I've suffered with back problems on and off for most of my adult life but have always got on with it, and it has never held me back on anything. I have trained hard from the age of 13 in boxing, weight lifting, and fitness training and have pushed myself to the limit. Over the last 3 years, this has stopped as my back pain had become too much, and I could not recover from any form of exercise. After 30 years of training, this had a huge impact on my mental health. I was at a all time low with me many times thinking I would be better not being here. Only for my wife, children, and family have i been able to pull through. On the 5th and 6th of November 2024, I went through two spinal fusion surgeries at the Walton Centre Hospital in Liverpool. My lower back was fused front and back, and it really knocked the hell out of my. My surgeon, Mr. Dr Annis, and the team at the Jefferson Theatre Ward did an amazing job on me, and 6 months later , I signed up for the 2026 Manchester marathon. Dr. Annis and his team have changed my life, and I can't wait to be the person I was, eg, walking into the gym and being the BEST!!!I know money is tight, but if you can give a little, I know someone else like me could get the treatment I got, and it honestly does change life's. I promise you this marathon is getting smashed, and I'll make the Walton Centre proud. Thank you all so muchChris Boden. Christopher Boden Manage Cookie Preferences
