We are kindly asking friends and family of David Rafter donate monies to The Walton Centre Charity specifically to The Horsley ITU critical care unit who cared for Dave. After a short illness, Dave sadly died on Thursday 22nd April 2021 surrounded by the love of his fiancé Fiona and his family. The Horsley team cared for Dave and his family with so much compassion and empathy. We hope that this donation will express our gratitude for the support the whole team gave us.
The Walton Centre in Liverpool offers a world class neuroscience service which includes many pioneering techniques, cutting edge treatments; and clinicians who are international leaders in their field. Over 100,000 patients are treated at the hospital each year with conditions ranging from head and spinal trauma injuries; brain and spine tumours; Epilipsy, MS, Motor Neurone Disease and Parkinson.

The Charity funds a variety of projects and all funds donated in David's name will go towards The Horsley ITU critical care unit to support the tremendous work of the amazing nurses, health care assistants and doctors who took such care of David and his family during a difficult and upsetting time. We thank them all. Fiona Houghton
