I'm cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats because I like a big challenge!

I had surgery to remove a brain tumour at The Walton Centre in 2002 and feel very fortunate to have received such first-class treatment, which allowed me to make a full recovery and get on with my life. I've paid all costs for the 980 mile trip from 7-15 September 2019 - so every penny of your donation will go to support the fantastic work of The Walton Centre in Liverpool. The Walton Centre in Liverpool offers a world class neuroscience service which includes many pioneering techniques, cutting edge treatments; and clinicians who are international leaders in their field. Over 100,000 patients are treated at the hospital each year with conditions ranging from head and spinal trauma injuries; brain and spine tumours; Epilepsy, MS, Motor Neurone Disease and Parkinson.

The Charity funds a variety of projects in the hospital including research, innovation, new technology and patient & family facilities. Katy OConnor
