The Walton Centre Charity are participating in a Christmas Fundraiser to benefit the CRU and Lipton Charity Fund and we need all the help we can get!

We want to virtually cover the distance from Liverpool to Lapland, 1385miles, in time for Christmas and we are encouraging staff, patients and family members to get involved!

This challenge is led by the CRU and Lipton Charity Committee, and will take place between 29th November ... aiming to reach Lapland (virtually of course!)

The Walton Centre in Liverpool offers a world class neuroscience service which includes many pioneering techniques, cutting edge treatments; and clinicians who are international leaders in their field. Over 100,000 patients are treated at the hospital each year with conditions ranging from head and spinal trauma injuries; brain and spine tumours; Epilipsy, MS, Motor Neurone Disease and Parkinson.

The Charity funds a variety of projects in the hospital including research, innovation, new technology and patient & family facilities. This 'Liverpool to Lapland' fundraiser will go through our Christmas Campaign and is being led by the CRU and Lipton Charity Committee (encouraging staff, patients and families to get involved!). Any funds raised will benefit patients on CRU and Lipton wards and we truly appreciate all of the support in reaching our goal.
