The Walton Centre in Liverpool has been treating my niece, Izzy, for underlying health issues since she turned 18. On 20th March this year Izzy suffered a serious brain haemorrhage and is currently being cared for as an inpatient at the Walton Centre. Izzy and her care team are hugely dedicated every day to her recovery and rehabilitation. In support of their efforts Rhiannon, Joe and I have decided to join the Walk for Walton initiative, which will see us each walk 100,000 steps during May. We are trying to raise £500 for the Walton Centre and would be grateful for any donations to help us reach this target.

The Walton Centre in Liverpool offers a world class neuroscience service which includes many pioneering techniques, cutting edge treatments; and clinicians who are international leaders in their field. The Charity funds a variety of projects in the hospital including research, innovation, new technology and patient & family facilities. Caroline Thompson
