The time to say thank you

What a better way to celebrate the NHS - one of the nation’s most loved institutions - than with a cup of tea?

This July, people up and down the country will get together to raise a cuppa to our beloved NHS and raise funds for NHS charities. Over the last 70 years the NHS has transformed the health and well-being of the nation. And helping behind the scenes are more than 250 dedicated NHS charities - The Walton Centre Charity being one of them! Whether supporting research and development, brightening up hospital environments, providing state-of-the-art technologies and equipment or supporting staff, they help the NHS to go above and beyond.

The NHS has touched us all and NHS Big Tea is your chance to celebrate and say thank you.

On Friday 5 July 2019, people across the UK are organising tea parties in support of an NHS charity that means the most to them.

5 July was chosen as it's the actual birthday of the NHS but you don't have to hold your party on that day - if another day in July works better, go for that!

There are lots of ways to get involved and lots of materials available to help make your tea party a success.  From posters to advertise your party, to bunting and social media graphics - everything is there so you can get started.
