The impact of the Coronavirus pandemic means that sadly we are unable to hold our annual Hope Mountain Hike event on Sunday 25 April. Instead we are launching our virtual ‘My Hope Mountain Hike’ challenge for the month of April. Wherever you are you can set your own challenge and help us to raise much needed funds for our Home from Home relatives’ accommodation.

Each £20 raised will ensure one night in our Home from Home accommodation for relatives who need somewhere to stay after a
patient has been admitted for urgent treatment.

For our supporters who set a fundraising target to raise £100 or more, we’ll get in touch and send you one of our charity t-shirts that you can wear during your challenge!

Do it your way

Our annual Hope Mountain Hike usually takes place at the end of April and is an 11 mile walk through the beautiful Welsh countryside. As we can’t all get together this year we are asking you to do your own Hope Hike challenge, in your way and at a time that suits you. Whether that’s 11 miles on Sunday 25th April, or 11 miles spread over a number of days in April – the choice is yours! There are lots of ways to get involved too, some ideas are listed below.

Please be sure to follow government advice on coronavirus restrictions, depending on where you live.

How to get involved

It's really easy to get involved!

Decide what activity you would like to do for your challenge and then create your fundraising page.

Alternatively you can make a one off donation directly to this page.

Raise money

Tell friends and family, and share your fundraising page on social media.

Share with us what you're doing

Download and print your pledge card and write what you're doing (if you don't have access to a printer, screenshot and draw on your mobile phone or tablet) then tag us in on social media. We love to see what our fundraisers are up to.

Please note, if you paid an entry fee for our postponed April 2020 hike and would like a refund of your £10 fee, please contact us by email to [email protected] and we’ll make arrangements.  If you would like to donate your entry fee we would be very grateful and this will go towards supporting our Home from Home Fund as the hike would have done.
