Hope Mountain Hike 2020 Important update: It is with regret that we have to inform you that the Hope Mountain Hike has been postponed due to the Coronavirus situation. We understand that you may be disappointed, however the health and wellbeing of supporters, organisers and volunteers are of the utmost importance to us so we feel this is the most responsible thing to do at this time. The organisers are looking to hold the event later in the year instead on October 4th so hopefully you will be able to join us then! If you would like to join us in October and you have already registered and paid your entry fee, then you don’t need to do anything else at the moment. Your registration will simply carry over to the new date. If you don’t think you will be able to join us for the new date, and want a refund of your £10 fee, please contact us on 0151 556 3465 and we’ll make arrangements. If you want to donate your entry fee we would be very grateful and this will go towards supporting the Home from Home Fund as the hike would have done. Once again, we are so sorry for this decision but hopefully see you in October! Join us on a hike through beautiful Welsh countryside to raise money for The Walton Centre Charity. The 11 mile walk follows gradually undulating paths and roads through woods and open countryside, reaching a high-point of 932ft at the northern brow of Hope Mountain. Entry fee £10 includes a BBQ and commemorative certificate and we ask that you raise a minimum of £40 in sponsorship. All monies raised from the event will benefit our Home from Home unit - on-site relatives' accommodation for families whose loved ones are receiving critical care at The Walton Centre. Online booking for the October 4th date will re-open shortly.
